Towers... Attack!
This is our submission for the GMTK Gamejam 2023, Towers Attack!
The theme for this year was; 'roles reversed', so we figured to make a tower defense game, except the roles of the attackers and defenders are reversed.
You still play as the towers, though now you attack as them to defeat your enemies and get to the end of the stage to earn points.
How the game works:
Gain Points by reaching the end with a tower.
Lose lives by getting your towers killed.
Use WASD to move, click on towers to spawn.
Towers
You have a choice from 8 different and unique towers to play with:
Pagode:
HP: 100. Deals massive damage with less range. Gives a lot of points.
Donjon:
HP: 180. Your average tower. Deals avarage damage with a trowable spear.
Water tower:
HP: 170. Can traverse over water. Deals average AOE damage.
Church tower:
HP: 80. Deactivates the 2 types of shades. Deals no damage.
Light tower:
HP: 150. Has bigger range. Deals less damage.
Plane tower:
HP: 150. Deals no damage but moves very fast. Travels to another plane when killed. Gives little points.
Volt tower:
HP: 350. Very slow, with big damage. Gives alot of points.
Cool tower:
HP: 1000. The tankiest tower. Moves slower and deals no damage. Gives a ton of points.
Gain Points by reaching the end with a tower.
Lose lives by getting your towers killed.
Use WASD to move, click on towers to spawn.
